Cally Barker is an established artist  living and working in Bedfordshire UK. This new collection of Cally’s work reflects her interest in story telling, memory, community and womens lives. She incorporates textile elements in her work, alongside bookmaking, print, the stitch, drawing and writing. She has been the recipient of an Arts Council award enabling her to expand her work with the hugely successful Book Project. She has shown her work throughout the UK, including the Museum of Womens Art London, MKG in Milton Keynes, the Barbican London and St. Louis USA, and has various pieces in collections.

Cally B is well known for her work creating the Book project. This community based project received major funding from the Arts Council and toured extensively. Now Cally has produced an interesting and thought provoking collection of new work using stitch, text and photos to convey the emotions around family and travel, each piece tells its seperate story.
